My name is Dagmar Wimmer, I am an enthusiastic athlete and over the years I have tried to use cardio- and strength exercises to help with my stress induced tensions, which regularly occur due to my seated occupation as a medical technician. These chronic physical complaints brought me to Pilates.
Right from the start I was fascinated by the movements, and the lasting wellbeing, you get after training. Ever since then tenseness and pain lie in the past.
My training as a certified Pilates instructor gave me an understanding, that muscle building and relaxation are compatible. Training a correct posture, stability and flexibility add immensely to our quality of life and mind.
As a Pilates instructor I attempt to adjust my training to the anatomy of every client and help improve the awareness of ones own body and movement. I hope to aid all areas of the body and stretch and shape them with controlled exercises. To my Pilates is a way to change our bodies and take time to find our inner peace.
